Step 1. Set your password

Note: Your browser must have Java enabled (and most browsers do) for this step.

  1. Run MindTerm.
  2. At the SSH Server/Alias prompt, hit Enter to accept the default value of vonnegut.terakeet.net.

  3. If you see this dialog box, click Yes.

  4. Enter your username (without everything after the @ sign) and the temporary password you were assigned. Note: you may see a name already in the username field; hit backspace a bunch of times to clear this and enter in your email username.

  5. You will be prompted for three passwords. At the Old password: prompt, enter your temporary password again. At the New password: and Retype new password: prompts, enter in the new password you want. You enter it twice to correct for typos. Note: you will NOT be able to see what you are typing!
